#UPDATE
This evening has continued to be busy in Stafford town center. Officers have issued directions to leave under the dispersal notice to multiple groups in the town center who now risk arrest if they return while the notice is in place.
There has also been:
- 3x persons arrested who are now in custody for separate offenses of assault and public order offenses.
- 4x stop searches for separate incidents of theft and weapon possession.
- 2x suspect interviews completed for reported shoplifting.
In addition to progressing the criminal investigations we will:
- Share information and intelligence with partner agencies.
- Work with housing associations to consider tenancy breaches where ASB has occurred in the area a perpetrator lives.
- Make appropriate referrals to social services, schools and youth offending teams.

Massive bunch of them congregating on this side of the short stay car park. There's a bit of fence that has been broken and made into a cut through. So much easier for those of us living close by.
I understand completely what you're saying, but where are they meant to go? Especially if their parents don't have spare cash as everything in the UK is designed to get money out of you one way or another. TBH if you don't/can't drink Stafford is pretty dire.Massive bunch of them congregating on this side of the short stay car park. I can't go past them tho. If they started on me I could never move fast enough, my knees just wouldn't hold up. They may be the nicest bunch ever, and would probably be horrified that someone could see them as a threat. I'm not willing to risk it.
Not really a reason to make people feel intimidated, cause trouble/damage etc though is it.I understand completely what you're saying, but where are they meant to go? I wasn't aware these ones were causing the trouble/damage? And Glam herself said:Not really a reason to make people feel intimidated, cause trouble/damage etc though is it.
Yes, I've these ones, they seem to just sit on the floor in the carpark & chat. Like you said there really aren't many places for them to go.I wasn't aware these ones were causing the trouble/damage? And Glam herself said:

So from what I can tell these kids are merely existing in a space others would rather they didn't, so my point still stands where are they meant to go so that others don't feel intimidated by their lack of causing trouble/damage? This isn't a dig at Glam either, she can't help the fact she feels that way, I'm just trying to work out what solution people thinks exists as for them not to be specifically there they must be somewhere else.

I thought that a GCE 'O' Level pass in English Language was essential for employment with the local constabulary and that was when most bobbies were out on he beat rather than getting involved with too much paperwork. And ?
They're just using a bit of license over the spellings...I thought that a GCE 'O' Level pass in English Language was essential for employment with the local constabulary and that was when most bobbies were out on he beat rather than getting involved with too much paperwork.
They're hopeless at law enforcement, their very raison d'être, so how high up the list of priorities do you imagine use of the English language to be?I thought that a GCE 'O' Level pass in English Language was essential for employment with the local constabulary and that was when most bobbies were out on he beat rather than getting involved with too much paperwork.
