We hope it okay to post this here but we are looking for committed, responsible people with the time to offer loving foster homes to Senior Staffy dogs who are having to find new homes in their later years simply because they are no longer wanted. Perhaps you would like to have a dog in the home but do not want the full commitment of one - when fostering the rescue will pay for all vets bills. Interested? I thought that I'd tried that link, but obviously I didn't. I suspect that I was distracted by the particularly fine composition of that picture.

I do hope they get some viable response to this worthy cause.

I would love another dog and had thought about fostering, but son seems to have suddenly become allergic to dogs the last couple of years.

(Can't understand it as he was fine for the 15 years we had our rescue dog,but since she's died he can't even go into a house where dogs or cats have been without his eyes streaming & puffing up. )

There again I'm pretty sure I would become a 'failed fosterer' as once the dog was here it would probably be here for keeps

Will certainly think of getting in contact once son flies the nest!
