A new hairdressers in the little shop next to the prison just as you go around the big roundabout.
A new electrical shop on Mill Street where the old Truview shop was.

I notice from there web site they don't offer Free Delivery in the ST area

Buyer beware or at least ask before you hand over your hard earned

I always check what's included before signing on the dotted line , but well worth pointing out! At a quick glance I hadn't spotted that ;)

That's interesting to know. I was wondering where I was going to go next time I need anything, now that Truview has gone (and Comet and Panasonic........where-ever I shop they seem to disappear soon after! ).
I have seen @staffordjas out shopping.

HMV , JJB Sports and Farmfoods were also my favourite places to mooch around :strange: (I'd called in Panasonic loaded with my Farmfoods closing down bargains on the Friday afternoon. As he gave me a print out with details, I jokingly said I hoped the shop would still be open on the monday when I came back in to order. He replied laughingly " I hope so ! " Went back to place my order that following monday morning.......all shut up!

Any pubs you want me to keep out of? :D

I guess their website has not kept up with them having a new shop? White heat of technology, eh? Having said that the shop wasn't open when I walked past.

Jas.....

This is a public broadcast on behalf of Stafford.

Just keep away from the new development/shopping centre when it opens in 2016...especailly the new marks and spencer.

Although you have been given dispensation to enter primark 3 times daily.:lolsmash:

Any you're still allowed in...?

Our planned return visit to The Pie & Ale House was scuppered by their closure soon after we discovered it :D

Hitting the shops in Worcester on Monday, they still have quite a few still open at the moment...... don't tell them I'm coming ;)

WHAT!!!?? TK MAXX is the ONLY decent shop Stafford has. I basically buy all my non-food items there. How can anyone not like that shop, I'm truly incredulous!!! :S
Its like the worst ever jumble sale in the world! Saying that, OH allways finds great things in there......& my bestest ever ever buy (fur lined Emu Wellies) came from TK maxx - I looked them up online last year when mine finally split.....they cost me £24.00 in TK Maxx...........but would of cost £160 anywhere else!!!

(I loved those Wellies) :(

You need to go with an open mind - but I've brought lots of TK Maxx over the years - having one in the center of town is a great asset to Stafford

Lol, worcester just like stafford. Watch out for the water in the town centre that have been going all year with a month break in the summer. It has caused uproar and has been an absolute mess with town centre roads shut completely, actually due to finish at the beginning of november but when do these things finish on time.

they also built a new shopping development at st martins that finished well overdue as at the beginning of this and been open almost a year only 50% of shops had been filled. 3 months ago had a 1.5% occupancy rate worse the stafford.

nice to know elsewhere has it problems also :)
