I went to the display lastnight and have to say I was disappointed with the display itself.it started over 30minutes late and lasted around 10 minutes.now to me that doesnt seem good enough.
also ive seen a few tweets on twitter saying getting out of the event was a shambles, with no marshals around to help the traffic.luckily we got lucky with where we got asked to park as it was right next to the gate leading to the long driveway,so had no trouble getting out.

whats your thoughts on the event?

We also went last night, its was terrible, will never go again. We lined up from 6.15 for a good view, only for a marshall to let a load of peopel go under the roped off area and stand in front of us. My poor little lad couldnt see a thing. It was a shambles. We had to go sit in our car to watch the fireworks as it took so long for them. No one even checked our tickets!!!

I was there - really enjoyed it, and I thought the display was just right - not on too long etc - enough big ticket fireworks, very little filler. I'll agree getting out was a bit of a nightmare.

We went a few years ago, it was a shambles, it was late and there was nothing to do there with small children (too young for the rides) we asked for our money back and left, 45 mins after the fireworks were supposed to be on.
