Singer/Guitarist Singer Wanted

Looking for a Singer or a Guitarist who can play and sing.

Im 23, been playing for 8yrs now and need to do something with what i can do good at.

Ive recently wrote a few tunes, some with lyrics but i just mostly write tunes. I need someone pretty good to have jams with and get some new ideas etc.

I play alot of acoustic but i do have an electric and amp too but im thinking acoustic is what i should go for, for now. And no, i dont just strum lol.

Ive been learning alot of classical music lately which has given me new insights in to things like picking and styles of playing too.

Ive wrote alot of tunes in Drop D (not cuz im lazy either lol) but i want to try new things... some of the recent things ive wrote and been playing have alot of feeling in them etc. My fiancee says i sound abit like the Nirvana unplugged album but yeh...i dunno...i just want a singer as i sing crappy and if you want to help then do so.

I dont care whether ur White, Black, Asian or whatever colour your skin may be, that doesnt bother me, but just aslong as you can sing and have a varied out look on music.

There a loads of jam / open mic nights around the area to find like minded local musicians - it's where my husband found his band - The Muffcakes (http://www.myspace.com/richmatthewsthemuffcakes).

I can throughly recommend Jamnight at Joxer Brady's - very friendly and laid back. Come along, play some songs, chat to some people. Stafford is really good for this kind of thing.
