I've mentioned this in the nowTV thread, but thought I'd post it here too s its not just for them. Watch sky movies on your PC, PS3, possibly xbox? Anything that can get the nowTV app (including of course the nowTV box for a tenner).

Sign in with your account (make one first if necessary) then go to my account, manage my account then to the right of the sky movies pass look for 'add a voucher'.

never mind, just read this on HUKD:

Sign up to the free trial then apply the code afterwards by clicking "my account" then "manage my account"

Edit - Also be sure to remove the space before the code if you're copying/pasting into the box

did it and it seems to have worked:

Voucher applied successfully, it will take effect from your next Auto Renew.

yeah, i didn't have an account (figured i would wait until i started using the box before creating one), so did this and it worked a treat.. gonna get my movie on this weekend, i reckons!

Excellent, glad it helped. I've just realised I can cancel my £2.50 a month offer and take this instead, sorted!

EDIT: Actually I just realised I can only view from 2 devices at once, so I may just add another account. I've sorted my mum out with a box on mine and I also have one in my room, one at my GFs and one in the shed. May as well have them all able to work at once

I'm sorry about what's happened with your sign-ups. This isn't a marketing ploy- the offer code is no longer valid, but it seems that if you keep re-entering the code (as per the advice on Hot UK Deals), the account activates but applies an £8.99 charge. I've raised this issue to be investigated, but in the meantime, please tell anyone else you know is trying this not to do it unless they're happy to pay £8.99.

We're resending individual offer codes to eligible customers this afternoon, but if you didn't receive an email originally, I'm afraid you won't be able to take advantage of the offer.

We'll of course refund the £8.99 though, so if you go to our contact us page and pop onto live chat, we'll sort that out.

i emailed now tv to ask why my subscription still shows an expiry date of 15th september, even though it successfully applied the voucher and shows a renewal price of £1.. they replied:

Thank you for contacting us at NOW TV.
Unfortunately, I cannot see an email on your account that would entitle you to this offer.
We’re really sorry but this offer was only for customers who received the email. Apologies for the confusion around this.

If you have received the new email, could you please send me a cope of it.

If not, I hope you enjoy your free trial.

so i've taken a screengrab showing the aforementioned renewal price (which it still shows now), and if they try to charge me more than that come 15th september i guess i'll just have to hope they're not too much of a pain in the arris to get a refund from..

Hmm, thats a bugger. The movies are renewed on a monthly basis, my other account also only has 1 month on it at present and will charge me £2.50 each time it renews for 6 months. However if they are telling you that you are not entitled to the offer I wonder what you will be charged?

I've just taken screenshots too, will kick off if they charge more than their own software suggests as this insinuates that you aren't seeing real information?
