Tesco is there now, I remember it in the 80`s was also used by midland redProbably a stupid question, but does any one know anything about The Railway Club, Old Goods Yard, Newport Road? It came up in a conversation but no-one seemed to know it.
I'm fairly sure that I went there once - late '70s, I expect - it's one of many community assets that have disappeared over the years.

There was the BRC club at Burton Manor and Universal presumably had one, too.
Dorman's Club is still going, I believe - or whatever it's called this week.
Amasal Club still runs - and Highfields.
