It's in the pump - on the end of the rod where the black handle is here, where you pump it up to pressurise the tank.Excuse my ignorance , where would the pump washer be? and do you know where I could get a replacement

Ah, right. I see that that might seem a strange place to suggest. I suggest them, because they would use the necessary cup washers in the old-style bicycle pumps. I got a genuine old-style leather one there, but it must be 15/20 years ago.Henry Burtons????
