Springslade Lodge say - "It saddens me to let all my customers and friends know that Springslade Lodge was broken into last night. Whilst food and drinks were stolen; more disappointing to me is that the thieves must have no conscience, as they also stole our RSPB, Liver Disease, Badger Society and Staffordshire Search and Rescue charity boxes.
From a personal perspective; apart from being saddened that my home and business have been violated, a very special award that was recently presented to me for the work I have done in promoting wildlife was also taken, which I would dearly like back.
I have added a picture below (bronze hare) and would ask if any of my wonderful customers and friends are offered, or know someone who may be offered it, would they kindly let me know in order that we may recover it."
