Stafford Ale House
yeah, great to see a menu up there - love the "pie & a pint", and the free wifi!

my missus won't eat red meat though (some people  ) - any chance you can include some kind of pork/chicken pie in that deal in the future? if so, we'll see you in there every night for tea

Just back from a nice relaxing coffee and brekkie at Stafford ale House and very nice it was too. Pleased to report that the coffee is now back up to my standards as opposed to the dire coffee they were serving towards the end at the P and A. froth on the cappuccino was satisfyingly thick and creamy :) and the toast was delicious - although can I request you do wholemeal bread too as well please.
New menu looks good on the website so will definitely be trying something off there soon.
As always the staff were helpful and friendly and although we were the only ones in we didnt feel uncomfortable. Please support them though forumites as we dont want it to go the way of P and A do we?
Oh and the handwash and handcream in the loos is lush by the way :)

Just had a lovely pint of Marston's Merrie Monk in there tonight, a nice mid-point between a bitter and a mild. The temperature of the beer was spot-on, so whatever problems they had in the past have been corrected.

I was in there tonight with Florence and the Stafford Beast - Juice-Comedy and Mohawk Pete appeared at one point, but we soon frightened them off. The EPA was lovely and Florence's wife-beater went down quickly, as it always does.
