John,

I am not sure wether to take this as a(fundamental deficits in understanding as you quote)

Being a firm of solicitors who would attack their client

Or

The forum participant who missed the clue

I am not fond of Stafford solicitors

Well did you see central news?
Are these local counsellors trying to destroy our local businesses. Making plumb bits remove a sign that over looks a main road. Are these people for real?
Just because they are slightly too big, and its taken them 20 years to spot em!!!
Plus another local company (stafford tyres) who must employ 7 or 8 staff are being pushed away from the town because of high rates.
And the co-op shop closing due to high rates!! another 100 people on the dole.
I really think who ever runs our town must live somewhere like Stoke on Trent or some other big city and maybe they just want to fill stafford with houses. Local firms are going to the wall. Come on you guys in power get it sorted before we have no firms left in the town ( or maybe thats the plan)
we will see........

John,

I don't think the suspect solicitors are fond of other local solicitors ,the ranting partner I spoke to described

Hand Morgan and Owen

As

Hand Morgan and f.....g useless Owen

Dear oh dear

Well I can agree with that but I have form and have no good word for any local solicitor. A cartel of cretins

I drove past the alleged complainants premises today and whilst being distracted by their rather large sign next to the roundabout, nearly crashed my car....

Where might I complain to the council about this sign, which is surely in situ against planning regulations.... :ninja:

Are you looking for suggestions..?

i would suggest ringing patrick tedstone at ORJ but he has no good words for local solicitors

he described hand morgan and owen as

hand morgan and f.....g useless owen

and the rest of the local solicitors as just jelous

so i would avoid asking this firm of solicitors for advice

I don't wish to labour the point as I have gone on about this before but...

If you need to rely on a good solicitor seek one within a very large company outside the Borough of Stafford and preferbaly beyond the county. I speak from experience - lots of bad ones..

you are correct no hand morgan or f....... useless owen left at that firm of solicitors as patrick tedstone would say

there is no O in ORJ either ,john oldham being the O i would class as a personal friend of mine,a perfectgentleman retired from the practice some years ago ,its as shame the practice is sadly lacking in gentlemen now

I wonder if we defaced their sign, in the manner of a ballot paper perhaps, if it would be removed sooner?

Get ready for the letter from Trading Standards complaining that your fax number is still wrong...

I shall leave the fax number as it is ,for posterity and just in case the sbc or teddy has a go at my signs in future,a true sign of things gone by

down teddy down

there has been many offers of defacing there sign, but i think the sign is defaced as it is,i believe less is more, all the very good solicitors i know have a small brass plaque,

in this case i think more =less
