Stafford Council tell Plumbits to take down signs after 20 years

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
Mmm. If that is true, then they might like to consider that they could have been quite lucky to get 'change of use' in that location...

Here it is...
That sign shown is NOT the one that is currently in place. The new one is ever larger and more horrible.

I noticed those signs straight away as we went past the other day, what an eye sore!
and what they do is play the system again. They again will wait for enforcement action, which has had to start again (different sign) 18 months of augment and remove the signs just before it goes to legal. They will then put something equally vulgar up

Is it possible you are confusing Curly with Lofty (from Eastenders) - who was one Tom Watt just to add to the confusion?

If so, he was in town in 1992 -

- playing, of all people on this day, Richard III.

And he was marvellous, darling.

no it was definitly curly watts or kevin kenedy is his real name,we also had dez barnes from coronation street the previous year,it was something the stafford post was doing at the time with local businesses, the girls in my showroom were quite taken by des barnes

I believe the notion of "Futete irrumator" is integral to the solicitors' charter.

You seem to be associating solicitors with a faithful hound, rather than a blood sucking leech?

Regardless, my impression of that office is that they started in their front room and kinda grew. Its weird, I'm not a snob by any stretch of the imagination, but I've always perceived professional businesses running from blatantly residential premises as being 'on the cheap'.

No, I decided to get up and electrocute myself a little instead. Only a little though, just to keep me feeling alive!

EDIT: I was ditching another 4 halogen GU10s, been meaning to do it for a while and figured as I was home and feeling a bit better....

I must admit you did tell me last week and so has half the town now,but as they are a firm of solicitors i have to be careful what i say,i could end up being sued and adding more money to there pot
