Chance for SMEs to win £500 worth of vouchers!

Staffordshire University is evaluating the effectiveness of innovation support programmes for small and medium size enterprises (SMEs).

We are inviting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the West Midlands to complete a survey. This collects information on the impact of public innovation support measures during the five-year period 2005 to 2009 inclusive.

Input from SMEs is welcomed whether or not a public innovation support measure has been received during this time http://survey.merit.unu.edu/gprix/

As an added incentive to encourage responses five winners will be drawn from all respondents to the questionnaire. Each will receive vouchers for £100, which can be redeemed at the award winning Moddershall Oaks Spa and Restaurant (http://www.moddershalloaks.com/ ) or at Marks and Spencer. We are aiming for a minimum of 100 fully completed questionnaires.

I'm sorry to say that for the foreseeable I will not be able to attend the meetings, nor shall I have time to operate in a business capacity. With any luck all will be back on track in a few weeks. I look forward to attending again in the (hopefully not so distant) future, in the meantime have a good time all and get on with some work!

that's perfectly understandable shoes, Mr JC and myself both send our good wishes.
It's a shame we weren't given the choice of attending Pie club ourselves - despite it being my idea and I attended every single meeting apart from the last one, I made it clear this was a one off. Never mind, rudeness to fellow businessmen isn't in the spirit of what I wanted to achieve so no great loss.

Sorry guys - I was just a bit miffed that both Mr. JC and I weren't included in the last email asking who was attending, so I felt a bit left out and disappointed that I didn't get a chance to attend as i don't get a chance to check the forum during the day so didn't see the message on here.

Sorry. I sent an email out late on in the day on Wednesday asking if anyone was going because we weren't sure if it would be on. I didn't get any responses before leaving work and only actually went because VB and Dellis said they would go. I hit "reply all" to another email someone had sent to PIE people, with lotssss of email addresses on it as I assumed everyone would be on it and I haven't imported the distribution group into my new outlook yet. I did not realise anyone was not included in it so apologies for you not getting the mail. I posted on the forum to try to make sure everyone would get the message but I also don't really get on the forum very much any more with work so I can understand you not getting the message through here. It was a complete mistake and completely not meant to be deliberate in any way shape or form.

To be perfectly honest, there was myself, VB, Dellis, Rikki and Dellis's housemate. Gramaisc turned up around 9ish. We ate pie and chatted about nothing in particular. It was not really much of a meeting, if a meeting at all rather than simply hanging out.

don't worry, these things happen - for future reference though - I dont get on here during the day at all anymore :)
I was actually wanting to come last time to see if we could rally the troops - things have gone a bit aimless with Pie Club lately and we havent had a proper meeting since before christmas, I think its lost direction quite a bit and we dont seem to have a 'point'. To be honest I'm not really looking for a social thing but its fine if thats what you guys want :) It was the whole business and support network thing that interested us. but we may attend odd meetings in the future.

I have been attending in accordance with the "every other week" plan, hoping there would be others there.

I will continue to do so.


I will next be there on Wednesday the 9th at 7:30pm and I really hope to see others there too!
