Just because all major political parties are failing dinosaurs is does not automatically follow that a bunch of happy campers will be an improvement

The campers have spent the past 6 months in a tent in order to protest against the downgrading of Stafford Hospital. I have not seen any similar selfless commitment by any local councillor or MP.

I know this doesn't necessarily make them good councillors, however if they show the same selfless commitment, fight and passion then they will be a breath of fresh of air and much better than many of the self serving councillors we have now.

I think they will be taken seriously by local voters but we do need to see what their thoughts are on other issues ?

The reason why Stafford Hospital has been targeted is because the people of Stafford never voted in David Cameron when he stood here as a prospective MP. His hatred for the town knows no bounds.

Ironically it may have been better for Stafford hospital if he had been our MP ? It would have been very difficult to ignore a mess that big in his own constituency, not great P.R. By comparison Mr Lefroy must feel as though his feet are being held to the fire and cannot even slow the transfer of services, to Stoke, that are taking place with unseemly haste.
