The report said it wasn't possible to put an actual number based on the mortality rate (it was skwalker who gave the figure of one death, based on a review of case notes in a handful of cases), which is not the same as saying there weren't any.


If a business causes death or injury then they quite rightly should be prosecuted and normally are.
The Directors are fined and sometimes sent down.
So in the case of the Hospital shouldn't they also be prosecuted.
The management who were in charge at the time have avoided responsibility so far like in the case of the former Chief Executive who was so ill that he was prevented from attending the Public Inquiry, but surprisingly enough recovered quickly enough to take up a post in Shrewsbury.

They made policy, they took the decisions and they should be held accountable.

your right. It was skywalkers report I had in my head, but saying you cant put a figure on it isnt the same as saying 1200....
