Just been into town and noticed we still have a fully decorated Christmas tree in BTTF square.

The light are still hanging too.

Yeah I noticed that at the weekend aswell. I suppose they'll have to stay up all year now.

Still haven't had chance to take the lights down off my house yet either :s
Duly noted. You'd better be quick my little one has his eye on them. Wouldn't it be nice to come home and find them all down :P

Why didn't we have camels?
i think 3p person a a great deal.

what the article omits to say is:

how many people actually attended the event?
whether any business sponsorship was received?
whether the people attending enjoyed it?
how much the event boosted local businesses as people arrived in the vicinity for the event?
were tickets sold for the event and was a profit made?

nobody has actually said that the event was a failure, just the the camels were a bit pricey...but if they did their job well and any of the above raised more than £700 (the extra on the quote from the previous event) who cares?

Isn't it very bad luck to take the lights down when you've missed the twelfth night deadline? Aren't you supposed to leave them up all year?

I believe that there may be cost implications with trying to be at the front of the queue for removals, and they'll be back up in a few weeks, anyway.
