Oh gosh yes, I did mean to mention to look out for her Grandchildrens' names.

I love it when local news becomes a satire of itself.

How would sawing a bit of the exhaust system off cause a vehicle to be 'written off'?.

Could have just left it on Wickes' with the door open....

I have nothing against Grannies as long as they don't drive 4x4s or bicycles on public roads......now where did I put the spoke cutters?

Although you can probably get Government grants for doing it.

Ok, this thread is getting WAY too out of hand!! :)

It is odd that they wrote the car off for that...The dumb ass granny with her years of experience should have just taken it to Powerflow on Astonfields. They would have sorted her out with a pimping bling full stainless steel straight through exhaust system for less than the cost of a bloomin' train ticket!

Seems to me like the insurance company just couldn't be bother with the hassel, and seeing as the write off value of an old sh*t heap like that is £200, they just took that option!

But hey, we all know that crime only happens in Stafford...

It reminds me of a joke I once heard:

"Someone told me that 90% of accidents happen within a mile of your home...so we moved!"

"I've always lived locally. Wherever I've lived, I've always made damn sure it was local. There's no point living five miles from your house; you'd never get home at night."

Can't remember where that's from.. and veering wildly off topic again.

There you go then, my thoughts exactly. Is a Previa a 'grey' import jobby?

lmfao it's not a "real 4x4" (imho) it's just a people carrier with all wheel drive on selected models.
