I used to live at Hemswell, near Gainsborough. The arse-end of nowhere. We had two busses a week - and they only went to Lincoln. I once was cycling past the bus-stop on a Tuesday when a bloke with a suitcase asked me 'When's the next bus to Lincoln?'. "Friday", I replied and carried on. An hour later as I came back, I noticed that he was still there. He'd thought that I was taking the piss - poor sod. It was a traumatic period for me and you have just brought it all flooding back - I hope that you're pleased with yourself!

Oh, but welcome anyway.

I am - but I haven't been through the gates since they stopped having the boot sale in there, about 1990.

There is a thread about the current car park boot sale situation elsewhere, but in the very early days it was actually held inside the very stadium itself.
