When did 'Rigout' close?
Wow. Steve was an institution in Stafford. That's a shame but he lasted longer than many independents.
I know, spoke to him daily for many years when I worked in town.... I'm sure it was still there last week...
That's a shame. Last time I went in was in January. Bought quite a bit from there in the past.
Accessorise at Riverside closing 14/3
So how many empty units will this"successful and highly sought after" shopping experience have now?
Sorry your post does not make sense.
are you asking how many units are there in total, empty or let??
With regards to Accessorize ( load of crap that it was) they are finished. Monsoon and Accessorize closed down five weeks ago at the potteries centre, hanley. The end is nigh.
There are currently discussions going on for 3 units by the cinema to be taken by one company in the leisure area
Sorry your post doesn't make sense. Discussions are discussions and not occupying a unit.
Apologies, I thought the "So how many empty units" section was quite clear in the sentence...

Carphone warehouse/Dixons are closing all the standalone Carphone warehouse stores to concentrate on selling phones through the existing main superstores so expect the unit on Queens retail park to go at some point....
Laura Ashley has fell into administration, so expect to close as rescue deal in the current economic climate has been pulled

Stafford Indoor Market has closed until further notice, the fruit & veg stall and butchers are still operating as a delivery service. Contact Stalls in Stafford Indoor Market for more information.
The whole Guildhall is pretty much closed, the only accessible store is Poundland, the parking facilities have also closed .
Yes, but what’s changed?
There's less escape routes
while not a shop as such I did just find out that one of the airport/port taxi companies has closed down (Wings of Penkridge). Which is a pity as I found them pretty reliable.
Perhaps unsurprisingly they have had virtually zero bookings lately.
