Don't they also own the building top right of the Eccleshall road too?

It is owned by the Plymouth Brethren.

They also own the building at the top of the Eccleshall Road and another one next to the doctors on John Amery Drive, and another one on your left heading towards Tilcon Avenue on Baswich Lane next to the railway bridge. There is also one in Hixon.

They've also been granted planning permission to build a church community only shop on the corner of Verulam Road and St Albans Road.

Also the Guildhall now has no access through the centre. Expect a wall to be put across it soon, then they can get rid of what few staff it has left.

Yes, it closed between Christmas & New Year (there were no signs up prior to Christmas advising of the closure though).

It was the first shop on the right in Tumble Weed's photo.

Last I heard the council had agreed during a recent meeting to try to buy it (like the old Co-op).
