What's the very plain unsigned brick building surrounded by tarmac just on the town side of Harveys / County Autos ?
Yeah that is a bit odd isn’t it?

All the windows bricked up, two doors at the front…

Don't they also own the building top right of the Eccleshall road too?

It is owned by the Plymouth Brethren.

They also own the building at the top of the Eccleshall Road and another one next to the doctors on John Amery Drive, and another one on your left heading towards Tilcon Avenue on Baswich Lane next to the railway bridge. There is also one in Hixon.

They've also been granted planning permission to build a church community only shop on the corner of Verulam Road and St Albans Road.

Admiral casinos near the old sports direct has closed , redirecting people to the one by spoons.

Not that it really matters. Adds nothing to town.

Also the Guildhall now has no access through the centre. Expect a wall to be put across it soon, then they can get rid of what few staff it has left.
