Read that the aquatics centre is closing at the end of the year in the old Reynolds centre, and moving into the old Argos next to Home Bargains / the old Sports Direct, although not sure if that's right , I'm sure it's still occupied, but they show work starting.

Ironically, with all this movement , the actual highstreet is getting busier.

That does have a discount shop in it at the moment - but that might be a short let.

The discount shop and Stafford aquatics are owned by the same person, to the right of the discount shop there is a door which is often missed. Both shops will operate from there. I buy some fish from the aquatic shop, I was given a leaflet last week showing the layout.

don't mention the blinds
Indeed, the door leading to the soon to be aquatic centre will lead punters into the old Argos stockroom, approx 3 times the size of the bargain front sales area.........

Is the aquatics place under new management now? I remember they were looking to sell up a couple of years back?

Heard that the Judge and Jury including the hotel above will be closing shortly.

Also heard that Hogwarts is actually closing as well as Number 3.

I'm not bothered about Hogwarts closing really apart from wondering where the local pissheads will migrate to but losing the Judge and Number 3 is sad news.
