Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

I have often thought that there is quite a lot of open/wasted space as you go in to Sainsbury’s around the customer service area. Do you know if they are getting rid of the pharmacy altogether?

I have heard from a member of staff that Accessorize is moving to the unit near Greggs in the new shopping centre.

I was wondering if they might do that.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
Accessorize Staff member told me the same about moving at the end of March.

She also said that Monsoon closed because of the lease ending. I suggested falling sales may have contributed as well and she was a little non-committal about it.

Yes it is one of the Lloyds pharmacies identified for closure. Argos in town will also close.

And in terms of the argos move, it pretty much is closing. They're keeping the name, but I can see most of the staff being made redundant.
Yup, am guessing it will end up as more of a drop off point for the website than an actual warehouse of goods you can get that day. Unless they build some more storage at Sainsburys anyway!

Sainsbury's warehouse is huge - I suspect there's plenty of unused capacity there

Crime ridden town more like... Walked past the old M&S tonight, n even that's been broken into now , doors were wide open at the front n the alarms blasting.

Also, the old cinema has been covered in metal sheeting to protect it from being vandalised.

don't mention the blinds
Just needs a 'royal visit' to get the place spruced up. Let's face it there's certainly not a shortage of them, surely one of the family get pop in if only 1/2 hour......
