What can i say!???

Heard the now legendary Stafford song played on the counties premier radio station this morning! Excellent :) I'm truly lost for words. Having seen Sofa over the weekend I can confirm that his celebrity status is growing not only on Castletown but the borough as a whole. Well done old chap  and i'm sure you will do all of us proud on wednesday :uk:

Big shouts out as well to Andy and Louise for reprazenting the forum and its anthem :bananarock:

Again maximum respect to Sofa for his live performance of the Stafford song on this mornings Ray Crowther Show on Signal 2! Very composed mate and well done for mentioning the forum at least 10 times!

What made the performance for me was Ray following it up with 80's quiffmeister Rick Astley and his classic tune 'Never gonna give you up' :master:

Just Brilliant :D

I'll second that.....a sterling performance Sofa! I doth my cap to you.

And for those of you unlucky enough to miss this momentous occasion, i'm on the case trying to get a recording which we can pop on here for your enjoyment! Watch this space..

In fact we can go one better than that....Chris aka Jasper Films kindly filmed the show, so sometime soon you'll be able to watch the whole thing!

Sofa will be on Signal 1 tomorrow morning at 8.20, with a pre-recorded interview and yet another chance to hear the Stafford Song itself! For those of you not in radio range, go to Signal 1 and click 'Listen Live'.

Yes, indeed! Many thanks to Andy, Louise and Ray for making me feel so welcome at Signal today and Chris from Jasperfilms for bringing a video camera!

8.20am tomorrow (Thursday 19.04.2007) is the scheduled broadcast time, but listen in from as early as possible to enjoy the build up!!! Weeeeaahhhh!

You can download the new acoustic version I recorded at Signal today HERE! (right-click and "Save Link As" to download)

I will post the link to the video as soon as we've got it uploaded!

And, as the plan stands, I shall be performing at Joxer's Jam Night late Thursday night, too! Hope to see you there!

Cheers!

Big up the Forum! (and a shout out to me old mate BBC!)

Quality Sofa! Will look forward to hearing you again in the morning.

Big shouts to Andy and Ray and all the other 'local radio dj massiv' at Signal for doing the best broadcasting, not only in the borough, but across Staffordshire and Cheshire

Maybe you could do a Stafford themed love song and then Signal could reprazent it on the 'Late night love affair'

Just a thought!

4000th post? Whatever, I'm nonchalant..

When I’m feeling bored, and I’m in the Ford,
I go down Eastgate Street, then I feel complete
Wouldn’t you agree, Stafford you and me,
we’ve got a groovy kind of love...

This is truly ace, whoever you are, you've done a marvellous job! What do you reckon the chances are that Chris Moyles or Scott Mills would play it on Radio 1?

Heard you this morning mate! Great performance Tom!

If the council doesn't snap you up for the Stafford Festival then I'm not paying any more council tax!
