Round about 10 am certain members of the work force used take the paper to the toilet and pick the horses out , then fred from 16 shop would come round and take all the betting slips and put the bets on . First time I had ever backed a horse and won !

Never seen his name written before - one of those names that was just said - we always knew when it was the first day of spring - 'Sidro' would make a new cigarette holder from a piece of a stick that would last him for the whole year.

Thats Jonathon in the red and white teashirt at the back standing next to Nick Stanway. Im sure im on there somewear but i cant see it.
The chap in front of John cant remember his name but he was a nice chap got himself fired from what i recall
