Where I worked, we had a licence-building operation in the USA - it was not far off a total fiasco, and we had endless meetings about the chaos. At one, a bloke who had absolutely no sense of humour, said "These Americans, they're all just a bunch of cowboys!"

He had no idea why we were all laughing, and even when somebody said, "Actually, some of them are Indians", he thought it was being suggested that the problems were the result of them using immigrant labour from the sub-continent.
