FB recons that Baswich lane is closed again this morning? Can't confirm
Just rang hubby to check if he drove down it this morning. Baswich lane was open at 7.40am and no flooding on road at that time.
I didn't think so our Son in Law came through last night and reported clear but mucky
3 way lights on beaconside/common rd junction long queues on approach.
Apparently there are solutions to climate change …. (nuclear powered so no CO2)
Got stuck in that today.
Greyfriars Place is indeed closed to traffic one way....
Traffic clogging up north end. M6 closed?
Standing traffic southbound according to "Waze"
Big queues for nothing, seems finished & haven't removed lights etc.
Was like this both on my walk out and back again.
I've just been to Lidl and back - no roadworks, no floods, no traffic, no pothole evasion manoeuvres, no queues, no temporary lights and only one set of permanent traffic lights, which were green for me both times.
Are you sure you were in Stafford and not our obscure neighbour town Staffard?
Oh, did you spot the clues..?
Then you woke up?

Due to flooding our Doxey Long Stay and Doxey Short Stay car parks are both closed. Please see alternative car parks bit.ly/2v1orqA we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Only the long stay and 1 of the short stays closed at the moment. Unfortunately, rain has not stopped work this week on the new road................
Welcome to Doxey, where the banging never stops
When I bought this house, the new road was just a rumour. Shame it didn't stay just that.
Riverway flooded, passable one car at a time
Whatever roadworks that were to start today (for the next 10 weeks) on Lloyd's Roundabout/A34/Greyfriars - haven't happened.
