Looks like the car park opposite here is being turned into a storage bit for the new road works. Ooodles of them there yellow plastic barrier things being unloaded.

No friends of mine babb.
Just know if they leave the barriers open much longer, a group of travellers may just rock up and make it their home for the weekend.

I thought you had indoor plumbing over that end of town?

It'll keep the skate boarders away from that corner though.
Which is a blessing, but it's also blocked the ''Hole in t'wall'' that we had going on. So much easier going to and from Sainsburys that way, especially with my knees at the moment.

Easier than going without your knees.
I heard the ligament go 'Pop' when it happened. Swore blind it was going mean amputation, couldn't believe how bad the pain was.
Not much better right now, knee is swollen and I have stabbing pains all down the calf.

On the assumption that you've reported to the police. Untaxed vehicles are way way way down on their list of priorities. Every time a 'proper' crime is called in these will fall further down the list until they disappear. If reported to the DVLA they have no 'in house' enforcement and will wait until one of their devolved empowered enforcement partners pick them up.

Only via gov.uk website. To be honest I've seen plenty of evidence of the enforcement teams doing their job (at least close to where I live) over the last 12 months.
