Stafford Tyres

Charlie has recently sold Stafford Tyres to Micheldever Tyres - a big tyre supplier.

I think he still works there for now - but as an employee as opposed to the owner.

Don't worry, they won't beat camskill or blackcircles. Order your tyres from there, take them, along with your car to Malvern Tyres on Astonfields and hand over the car, the tyres and £20.

The other advantage is you get to control what goes on your car, rather than just 'oh, they're made by goodyear so they will be good'. Which simply isn't the case (for any manufacturer).

Well they did actually beat the black circles quote - ok only by £2.30 odd per tyre but they still beat it.

That's very surprising. I always ring around and when I'm done I wonder why I bothered.

Was that a blackcircles fully fitted price or just for the tyre?

I decided to e-mail to ask for the info.

Three days later and no response and I don't think I am going to get one at all to be honest.

If they hadn't advertised an e-mail address then I would have called them for a quote, so WHY advertise an e-mail address and then not answer the bloody thing?

yes, disappointed I got no reply from email a year ago for a couple of front tyres.
I rang after a few days in the end, they were going to get the job anyway, tho annoying they don't reply to emails.

Ah, that's the problem. BC charge a lot for their fitting - as I said, get them posted and then take car, tyres and £20 to Malvern tyres. I'm sure BC charge a lot more than £5 per wheel to fit and balance.

I've used County Tyres since they opened and I won't go anywhere else.
