I know its been mentioned elsewhere, but I thought it should have a thread of its own.

Tonight is the last Walking Street of the year and it looks like the weather will improve from around 4pm.

Not quite sure how the pub scavenger hunt will work because I have been told that it includes Redrum but I don't think they open today or if they do everyone else from the Walking Street will probably have already left.

Hopefully the rain will clear for the event as well.

Redrum says - Remember it's the Stafford Walking Street scavenger hunt this evening. We will be open from 6 pm until midnight and we've got some great acoustic acts in the bar for your enjoyment and free pool all night.

Remember to pick up a scavenger hunt card from the Stafford FM stage and grab a drink in Redrum to be able to complete your card.

Ah ok I stand corrected. It's good to see the Walking Street extending out more from the Market Square.

Hopefully it will continue next year and extend to the majority of the town centre, wherever that is nowadays.

We did the scavenger hunt and it was excellent. There were 6 of us 2 of whom had never visited a number of the pubs on the list despite being from Stafford.

Bet they didn't make much money this time round...... also people just walking through town got asked for I.D nothing to do with "walking street" but because they was walking through town, they needed to give name and number.

I don't really find this acceptable, town was here before "walking street"

People don't need to be hounded even more, way to put people off even more so.

It's sad but it shouldn't go ahead for a while, they won't get the same custom at the moment and the rest that goes with it, otherwise it'll stop for good because stallholders won't see the point

They managed to film staff and public breaking those rules and then posted the videos on their Facebook page.
