Stolen Records!

Yep the pikey b*stards have done it again! From my car outside my house (tithe barn road). They were in a green 'Ubiquity' bag, approx. 70 12's and a dozen 7's. Probably a good quarter of these records are irreplaceable If anyone hears anything please let me know.

today. it's been reported and i've had forensics 'round and there's a chap a few doors down with cctv. i shall phone collectable records in the morning. can anyone think where else they may try to sell them?

I really hate to say this but it might be worth taking a look around the local area, they'd most likely assume the records to have no value and throw them in a hedge.

If there are some rare items there, I'd place a few saved searches on Ebay with email notifications, it may come in handy.

i was going to suggest ebay...although quite frankly, the 'actual' worth of their haul will pass these d***heeds by and youre more likely to find them dumped near the rec on cambridge st.

sad story. i like the bit at the start though, "this is the first record ever made!". only known existing copy, oof, that in itself is worth a pretty penny, $3m seems a snip. also he's registered blind so fake notes or a piece of paper shaped like a cheque may slip his attention (:
