A few posts under my belt
RSPCA Stafford Wolverhampton and District's next event is something a little bit different :-

All creatures great and small are invited to attend an Animal Blessing Service on Sunday 30th September at St Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s Place, Stafford, ST16 2AP.

The Service will be kindly conducted for RSPCA Stafford Wolverhampton and District Branch by the Reverend Preb. Graham Fowell, Rector of Stafford at St Marys Church Stafford.

It is great opportunity for all you pet lovers to recognise and celebrate the bond between owners and their pets, and a great chance to remind us just how important our animals are to us.
Whilst there are religious meanings to the blessings, it is a chance for everybody to celebrate the joy our animals bring to our lives .

Everyone is welcome. The blessings begin at 3.00pm with tea and coffee available following the 30 minute service.
Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic, which can be enjoyed in the church grounds. In the event of rain, picnics and animals can be taken inside.

It is asked that only domestic species are brought along to the church. All pets must be on a suitable lead or in a pet carrier.

For those pets unable to attend, please bring along a photograph so they can be blessed.

We hope you can join us.
