Talktalk price increase

Didn't know where to stick this (ooer!), but got an email from talktalk earlier saying they are giving me some sky TV channels I don't want and upping my contract cost. If you get the same be aware you are free to cancel the contract as the increase is above inflation. I called and said I didn't want the channels, so they applied a £5/m discount to my account for the remainder of my contract instead making it slightly cheaper than before.

Also just noticed if you pay within 24 hours of receiving your bill email you get 15% off, saving me £6 a month.

I do love how these companies just randomly add things to your contract that you didn't ask for, then increase the price to pay for them...

With this early paying doobery I can actually knock £7.50 a month off my bill! Paid £34 for line rental plus top end fibre broadband and some TV channels nobody watches.
