Hmm, the first post today says its been running since Jan though? And a new landlord? Shame, I liked the last lot, but like I said I've not got out much lately.

They do, but its also the smoking area. Unfortunately they have very little land, the newish houses behind it may be the cause.

I think they may have been talking about January last year, I remember it closing and re-opening.
There is a beer garden, although it's enclosed so doesn't get a massive amount of direct sun- no sun bathing to be had. That's possibly a good thing!

Please take all the records and record covers off the walls in the back room; they
make it look like a church youth club. And, while you're at it, make the place more
woman friendly by dropping the almost constant darts coverage on the telly boxes.
The place is far too bloke orientated, there used to be a good mix of women and men
which you seem to have lost.

I had a very nice pint of Hooky at the Tap and Spile yesterday. The Dizzy Blonde beer is also very nice. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beer. I will be going again.
