Tarmac in Stafford - Recommendations ?

I'm looking a tarmacing company to widen my drive and drop the kerb. I've tried the local company - Dawkes - but to be honest not getting much of a response from them ie not returning calls etc. So if you've had any experience with any and can recommend anybody I'd be really grateful. I've googled loads but struggling to choose one as there seem to be quite a few. Thanks in advance

I can recommend Dawkes as they did my drive way and dropped curbs.Have you got permission from the council to do the alterations to the curb ,you do need it.If you let Dawkes do it they handle the paperwork side of things.I don't understand that they haven't returned you calls always found them a great help.All that said they are a one stop shop so to speak ,they demolished a wall ,dug out the soil and removed from site,laid edging curbs ,made good with hardcore,dropped curbs and altered footpath and laid Tarmac site was left clean and tidy.This was a double drive and footpath apron all done in two days.

I know they are a great company they redid our present drive a good few years ago and it's still looking great,but after getting them to give me a quote to do some work I asked them for a quote for some more on top of that but now I can't seem to get hold of them again. They're just not returning calls. And I must admit that if a company cannot be bothered to return calls etc then usually that means to me they just don't want the job.
