The more I think about it, the more I realise there are no religious terrorists just people hiding behind religion as an excuse. I can't think of a single group that kill innocent people for religious reasons where their faith tells them to do it? You even have terrorists claiming to be Buddhist FFS, talk about losing direction!

I'd recommend a book, Prisoners of Geogrpahy. The chapter on the Middle East goes a long way to explain why it's such a difficult region.
