That Festive Feeling

So - how are all you chaps and chapesses getting in to the festive mood?

I officially switched on my lights at work this morning - I attracted a massive crowd of about one at the launch!

I call it, "My Cubicle Christmas".

I've seen a few OTT house displays already

Cool! Put all our deco's up today. One more outdoor one to do tomorrow when (if) it stops raining.

Might be an idea for a new thread though - name and shaming areas with tasteless decorations. I'd go for that house on Perrin Close for starters.

Haughton is way OTT, but in a way tastefully done, and obviosuly all for a good cause. There's another one in Cannock which is just as heavily decorated and brilliant - infact some nights the guy dresses up as Santa and sits on his driveway!

i drove up to see the lights at haughton for the first time ever last year.. i couldn't believe some of the sights on display!! i'd love to know how much power they consume, compared to a normal household lol..

one house had a life-size santa sat at the front, that was proximity-activated so said "Ho Ho Ho! Meeeeeeeerry Christmas!" or something similar whenever anyone approached

Yes, there shall be such a night again this year, Santa will be there, I asked one of the chaps doing one of the displays. He thinks it could be the 23rd or something... a bit vague, sorry.
