Hello people of Stafford.

This SATURDAY is our grand relaunch.

We will be open from 9.30 - 10pm serving food, coffee, drink, cocktails and more.

Hopefully you can all make it as we have worked very hard to make this venue the best it can possibly be .

They are very yummy.

Yeah we feel like having a selected menu allows us to produce the best quality possible as opposed to having lots of options that has little quality. :)

Unfortunately once again the veggie options are disappointing. Cheese, cheese and more cheese. Doesn't matter how its dressed up, it's still cheese - unoriginal and unhealthy. Not for me i'm afraid.

Tbh I thought there would've have more of a choice for breakfast options, more on the line of pastries, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, muffins, smoothies ! It's one of the first places you come to if you park on the north walls car park, yet at 9am no signs of it being open, so we went elsewhere and we didn't call on the way back either because of course we had already eaten. Their loss!

We walked past yesterday morning and found it shut (nothing new about that) then came past again early evening and it was shut again, I'm presuming it opened at some point during the day but it does seem to be rather odd hours for a bar, especially on a Saturday.

We went in yesterday to sample some cake and cocktails, and it was really nice. Had a good chat with the new manager, who has lots of plans for the place. Love the table and tab service.

My only issue is that when we left, we seemed to be overcharged. Unfortunately, we weren't offered a receipt so didn't twig until we left, but three cocktails should have come to £11.85 and we were charged £15

I think you'll find their opening hours are self explanatory.

No salads or jacket potatoes on the menu then? ;)
Its only a small place with a limited menu (I certainly don't blame them for having a limited menu especially in these difficult financial times) and unfortunately with you being a veggie and having cheese issues you are a small percentage of the potential customer base.
I can see how adding cheese is an easy way for places to add some taste to veggie food though and that it could get annoying for you.

Agree the menu is unimaginative for veggies. With a bit of thought the menu could be interesting and inclusive of all dietary choices. Excluding people = lost business.

Given that we were asked for ideas prior to the re-opening and a lot of us said a) better opening hours and b) a more imaginative menu (especially for veggies), i'm disappointed that neither of these things seem to have been actioned.

It really is easy to come up with varied but easy veggie food on a limited budget/with limited ingredients. I do it every day, as do lots of other businesses.

Indeed.

The Swan on the other hand do respond to feedback and are a successful business, so you'd think others might consider following the example. My view is that with the offer as set out, Bankhouse will not be able to compete effectively. There's nothing new or exciting.

Hello,

Our opening hours are:

Monday - Thursday: 9.30-5pm
Friday - Saturday: 9.30-10pm

For vegetarians we would be happy to tailor and food we have on the menu to your needs. If we have it then we will most certainly make it for you.
I have also listened and decided that when my 'specials' boards are finished i will promise that there will be a special everyday for vegetarians as i would hate for you not to visit.

Soon we will be doing some breakfast options, including bagels and pastries. :)
