lol dear god that's hilarious!

I was raised strictly but neatly by my parents and if they knew I had started desert before the main course, a sponge shaft would be the least of my worries.

I find this kind of thing quite traumatic. I seem to have spent half my life having these sorts of conversations with people from different universes. There have been issues with Virgin over broadband and rail travel that have left me wondering if I have inadvertently ingested some bizarre chemicals.

Funny when it's somebody else, though.

A Czech friend of ours was capable of mixing up the words 'mustard' and 'custard' - just the words, though, not the actual substances themselves.

I had to stop reading that, as I began to have those flashbacks again. I won't bore you with it all ( or further retraumatise myself ), but NTL are by far the worst organisation that I have ever had to deal with - and there has been plenty of competition, but they 'shine out' way above the rest.

I remember saying "If you send me one more spurious bill, then I will rip your crap out and throw it in the street. Is that what you want? I'll go and do it now if you like!".

:grr:

Quoted by the BBC.

"It's certainly raised awareness that we serve Indian food on our Mumbai to London services" - Virgin Atlantic spokesman Paul Charles finds some positive spin in "best complaint letter ever"

Some people take optimism a bit too far.
