The Dunkability of the Modern Biscuit

Take a Penguin,Club or Twix biscuit, (others biscuits are available). Bite both ends off, stick one end in a cup of tea, put your mouth on the other end, and suck.
Biscuit porn at its best.

Hi

The Chocolate caramel hobnobs are glorious. But Jaffa Cakes (not biscuits....) are my favourite. But wouldn't say no to a Fig Roll, Lemon Puff, Jammy Dodgers or quite a few others

All the best

I love chocolate digestives. Cant bear bourbons.
Custard cream ok, but not for dunking.

I dont eat biscuits every day....perhaps once or twice a week and I limit myself to 3 maximum.

It sort of makes them more special if you dont indulge every day.

Like champagne.

Or perhaps not.

I don't like things that are too sweet a plain or stem ginger cookie all the way for me, but I do occasionally like a dark chocolatier digestive too, but no cream biscuits I fool myself into thinking for every cream biscuit I could have three plain ones!

Biscuits aren't less dunkable. We just eat less dunkable biscuits than we used to.

Rich Tea remain the unbeaten king of the dunk. Hob Nobs are useless - the texture is too loose and they contain too much fat. They soak up water fast and the heat melts the fat, making the biscuit fall apart.

What you need is a dense, low-fat, low-sugar biscuit.

Few things denser than a compo ration oatmeal block - complete with the assessment "nom"...

I have discovered these marvellous things, perfect for dunking. You can get ages of dunking and it doesnt break off.
I broke a biscuit in half and one bit fell in. I went and got a spoon to retieve the bit of biscuit and when I fished it out it was still in one piece.
Brilliant.

Mmmmm. I have to try some of those caramel wafers! :)

EDIT:- One brand seems to do a pack of 8, and the other does 10. Would be nicer to find somewhere that sells a full serving ;)
