Is that Stafford?
But Brocton is Brocton, not Stafford?Just off Chase Road, Brocton. There's a fence just out of shot, the stag was in a conservation area.
We pay our council tax, just like you, to SBC.But Brocton is Brocton, not Stafford?

My great gran lived in the corner one in the middle of the Almshouses , will always be one of my memories of Stafford
It really isn't that bad a town .... (APART FROM THE FACT IT KEEPS VOTING TORY DESPITE FACT ALL IT'S INDUSTRY HAS BEEN PISSED OVER THE SIDE OF THE SHIP.)
I agree, I moved here from Coventry....Stafford was and still is an absolute Haven even nearly 30 years on.I have said before, there seem to be two trains of though with regard to the town. Folks who are Stafford born & bred can remember it's heydey/better times so the decline seems more severe to them. To those of us who have moved here in recent memory things don't seem as bad. I still maintain that all towns have declined in recent years but Stafford has actually fared better than most especially in the local area. Businesses/shops are still opening & there are plenty of decent places to eat etc. Try going to Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock & Burton et al & see what they have compared to us!.
