Does that mean, that despite the application being withdrawn, the committee turned up and are, therefore, entitled to claim expenses?

Enjoying a drop of red.

It would be a scandal, were that not to be the case. Our hard-working councillors need some recompense for their toil.

This building in the right hands could be a fantastic restaurant / pub. I hope the current farcical situation is resolved quickly and the property is acquired by someone that knows what they are doing.

The landlord has taken possession of the property according to the multiple signs on the venue, with a number given to a key holder if access is needed.

As for the staff, no, we were left with sweet feck all for the time given to him, we've been told that if we wanted to recoup money owed, we'd have to a , find him, and b, go through legal hoops to get it. So yeah, hardly worth the effort chasing this scum bag up.

Luckily, I never fully committed by handing in my notice to my other employers, otherwise I'd have been in the shit now.

I assume he's set up another fake website full of venues that don't exist? He pulled the last one, possibly after I mistakenly told a colleague of his why it was obvious he was full of shit, if a new one exists please provide details.
