    A date for the diary.

The Opera Dudes are returning to Acton Trussell Community Centre on Saturday 15th Dec.
A fabulous night of festive cheer, a show of music, fun and laughter.
This is one of the funniest and most original singing double acts that you will see.
Yule be laughing until your sides hurt.
The songs will be a mix of popular opera, swing, show songs and of course all the Christmas favourites.
    Don’t miss this seasonal spectacular.

“They’re funny, they swing, and boy, can they sing”

Tickets £12.50 available September but we’re taking names now.

We’ve sold nearly half the tickets already so book in early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets have gone well for this lovely uplifting “feel good” show.

    Only 16 tickets left.

The guys have been working the last two seasons for Warner Hotels, who some of you know, only take performers of the highest calibre to perform at their hotels.

This will be a wonderful way to start the Christmas season, a lovely fun filled evening.

    Licensed bar available.

Are these the people who do Morecambe and Wise?

They don’t “do” Morecambe and Wise exactly.

They bill themselves as a cross between Il Divo and Morecambe and Wise, which translates as a very talented Operatic Duo who don’t take themselves too seriously and play it for laughs

They’ve got a very good reputation and a bit of a following, hence us selling out I think.

Our next village event is a “Books and Bacon Baps” event on Saturday 23rd February. Bednall Church.

We have over 600 books in new or nearly condition, all £1 each. Bacon Baps, tea, coffee, gorgeous home made cakes and this year a Tombola with 100 lovely prizes.
We sometimes have veggie samosos depending on our lovely neighbours being available to make them and bring them round.

Time.. from 10.00am to 12.00 although we usually run out of Baps in the first hour.

Come along, we’re a friendly village and you will be made very welcome.
