Having seen everyone simpsonized, I thought I'd ask if anyone’s seen the movie yet? I haven't seen any of the last few series but some of my friends who watch them avidly say they haven't been as good as normal as the writers have saved all the good stuff for the film! So kind of expecting it to be hilarious.
I'm going the Apollo on Saturday night to watch it, so is it any good?

We saw it on sunday with the kids. It was ok, but not as funny as i thought it would be. My 5 year old thought it was great, he was singing along to the spider pig bit for the rest of the day! We will definately get it when it comes out on DVD though, perhaps a second watch will help.

it's funny, but i've definitely seen much better simpsons.. me and a mate were talking about it today, and we were both surprised at how few "set pieces" they had - you don't come away quoting loads of it, like with many funny films.. there don't seem to be any memorable/quotable bits really..

still definitely worth a watch :)

My son is quoting it everyday all day and driving me round the bend as I haven't seen it. Mr labcm said that he thought their were a few funny bits but definately a film for the kids and as bobby says, still definitely worth a watch. Personally I can wait for the video.

I've, er, *acquired* it by other means. By the sounds, having not watched it, I'm glad I haven't paid for me and my daughter to go to the cinema to watch it.

Me and the lad enjoyed it.... starts off at the pace of a normal episode then slows up as it goes along, but there's enough to keep you entertained. The naked Bart skateboard scene is priceless.

Errr..me too....was funny...especially the Bart scateboard dare.....very good. Worth a watch but that was about it.

Wasn't bad, but not as good as expected. A few funny bits, mainly the skateboarding scene and "Spider-Pig", as mentioned on here.
