hi guys , sorry my post is misleading .it was the sun newspaper holidays. makes me laugh how they claim to be so cheap yet the in the end we upgraded twice and were lied to about our original upgrade. ok they are cheap holidays but jesus i thought we were in a dive to start with that was with the orginal upgrade that said we had an amaing caravan with central heating etc. only to find we had nothing of the sort on arrival, and the caravan was a few years old to say the least !! neveragain. rollon july when we go to a cottage we have used for a few years , luxury of sauna , hot tub , swimming pool etc .

We went to Prestatyn Sands about 3 years ago and it was pretty rubbish. The caravan was probably a similar age to me and it had no heating. It was probably around this time of year but we had really poor weather and I was so cold I struggled to sleep.
The worse bit though was that we were surrounded by huge groups of people from Liverpool who would be shouting screaming and fighting until the early hours each night. The only upside being it was so chavvy that during the day the site was like a ghost town! Felt sorry for all the kids as its not much of a holiday staying in all day and then being sat in a bar all evening.
Anyway I always make my wife pay for the upgrade now so that we have some heating and double glazing. Its £15 each so £60 for us and then we might spend a similar amount again on an upgrade. For 3 or 4 nights away its not that much money and the kids really enjoy it.
