We seem to be talking about at least two different people......
As @Gramaisc says, this sounds like a different person and not the lady the OP is referring to. I don't think someone walking to work from Wildwood is unusual enough to merit a thread.

Although, if she did it via Norton Bridge and Stone that would be a different matter.

If someone asks me when Morrisons is going to open as I walk into town from Wildwood I will know I'm a possible 'walking woman'

Or if someone asks you "where is the new shopping centre" then it could be someone from the forum.

No, sorry, they don't ask for directions ....they just decide to not bother and go home.

I actually considered having a nosey at the new shopping centre the other day whilst in town..then decided I didn't know how to get into it , so didn't bother.....

Starting early in the foothills of Marston, I made it as far as the new library, but had to abort the expedition after suffering a slack shoelace at South Walls. By the time the back-up crew had found me and sorted that out I was close to hypothermia, and I really didn't fancy the final swim across the river without SCUBA gear. Nevertheless, I'm sure its do-able with the right kit, so will probably try again next week, using the south-west route and a team of sherpas.

I heard we lost a couple of brave shoppers on the pizza bin traverse last week. Anyone have info on tackling this section without crampons and pitons? The council say it's damaging the pointing and will be taking firm sniper action against anyone seen abseilling from Level 4. They also reminded me that all visitors will have to show Channel Islands passports.

I haven't actually attempted this yet, but I believe that an approach from the north should be possible without a river crossing being necessary.

I wonder if you would pass more coffee shops than pubs from Marston Rd to Riverside? More so through the town centre.
