i hope you dont find yourselves at the wrong end of too many calls out for fighting/public order/complaints from local residents etc.....else it will be hello licensing board, and most likely bye bye cheap drinks promotions and possibly licence.

i remember when reynolds was officially the cheapest place in town- a tenner in and free drinks all night on saturdays. was full of idiots and was the final nail in their coffin financially and legally.

or maybe im just being cynical and is this just a desperate ploy to get people in over the summer whilst the students are away?

I completely agree...it's irresponsible and ridiculous. The only reason i'm glad this thread has been started is because it will remind me to steer well clear of the Newport Road area of town on a Tuesday, Friday and Saturday night.

You are not allowed to buy alcohol till 18 so u get ur mate to get it for u at 14
You are not allowed in pubs till 18 (to drink obv) so u sneak in at 16
niteclubs with a 21 on the door will be full of 18 year olds
niteclubs with 25 will be full of 20 year olds

or at least that my experience
