Tips For Those That Run (for their sins)

Look out for broken parts of trees blocking your pathway. More importantly, do not toe end the tip end of said tree part - it feckin' well hurts.

In the morning I can see a problem getting a sock to fit my left foot. (And no, my name isn't D.D.Lewis, but I may consider changing it.)

Which type are you? - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25263401

There doesn't seem to be a category for toe-stubbers.
I read that the other day. I'm none of those. I originally took up running because I was (still am) a tight arse and didn't want to fork out on taxi fare when my daughter had a fairly long stay in hospital when she was little. Me and her Mum had to stay over in shifts but I was not going to pay time and a half when it was my turn to do the night shift.
