Tixall Road motorbike crash

Yesterday evening my friend and I were cycling out from Stafford towards Tixall. When we got to the crossroads with Blackheath lane we saw a motorbike rider face planted on the grass verge at the Crem entrance. His bike was black and so was the car which he hit. It looked a bad crash, he wasn't moving or making a sound.

I just wondered if he's alive. Anyone know?

Yes, I passed the incident at around 7:10, driving from Baswich to Salt. There were two ambulance vehicles attending, a car with some sort of coat of arms on the passenger door, and another car parked on the corner of the cemetary. I didn't see the motorbike or the black car as they were presumably the other side of the ambulances. It seemed they were just about to get one of the casualties into an ambulance.

The first inkling I had was seeing the Air Ambulance 'loitering' above, not trying to land but presumably awaiting instructions and checking the lie of the land.

I'm afraid I've no idea how the casualty is, or whether there were any more.
