You could watch Fifth Gear, but thats sh--Top Gear is not educational and if you want decent information about cars you best move along, i have mates in Canada and the USA they all look forward to our Top Gear over there own version of the show, i always watch it for the comedy value.
Top Gear is overstepping it now in the irresponsible stakes. Minus Jeremy Clarkson it would probably be quite watchable.
Watched bits of it the other week and thought that taking that one man car on a dual 3 lane carriageway (suspect he'd have been illegal on a motorway) and dispensing petrol into the bin at the filling station was inexcusable. Clarkson is a total waste of space.
Ouch, Clarkson is the making of the show he is irresponsible and controversial some times that's the point .You're a first rate, five star idiot of the highest order, you know that? You're also the dullest, least interesting forum member I have ever come across. If you had it your way I reckon we'd all be watching songs of praise followed by bargain hunt and then horlicks and in bed for nine.
You need to chill out, lighten up, eat a nice juicy steak and trade in whichever dull diesel offering for volkswagen you bought when you had your brown trousers on and buy a sports car. Don't you ever step back and look at yourself and think 'shit, I am thoroughly uninteresting'?
Ohhh waaaaaaah clarkson did something irresponsible waaahhhh. I bet you believe computer games and rap music turn sweet innocent children into meat eating school shooters.
Throw your television away. Do us all a favour and throw your computer away whilst you're at it.

I totally agree personally i look forward to Top Gear and when Clarkson hits the headlines for saying something perceived to be controversial i find it mostly perthetic and very funny. He's only controversial because people are too sensitive these days. He's irresponsible in a planned, controlled, scripted and regulated way. If you choose to copy him, that is not his, or anyone else's fault.
And as for the petrol, I hope that mr scat realises it was edited to make it look like he pumped petrol into a bin. I don't think anyone would actually do that ffs.
Clarkson plays on the fact that he annoys the tree hugging, Guardian readers. The more they berate him, the more he goes out of his way to upset them. They would better off ignoring him as someone I can't remember once said 'I don't worry what they write about me as long as they keep writing about me!'He's only controversial because people are too sensitive these days. ..or de-educated, sometimes..where any dissenters would be sent away to be 're-educated'
I think you're right that he does feed off causing controversy and shouldn't be encouraged. He strikes me as the sort of person who would have difficulty with others ignoring him completely. That said, there are occasions when I think it is right for him to have been criticised - unfortunately there are those who are influenced by him, which is a scary thought.Clarkson plays on the fact that he annoys the tree hugging, Guardian readers.
