What will happen to me?
Not much.

At 9.30 the Moon will pretty much be covering as much of the sun as it is going to do. It will be surprising only inasmuch as it will be not particularly noticeable.

You might want to wonder upon the fact that even something of the order of just 10% of the sun in the sky doesn't have an enormous effect on the light available to light up your world. You might not - who could possibly know?

Remember that this is a misnomered thread, it is a partial eclipse, not a total one. The mechanics of it all are still quite awesome, the visuals are likely to disappoint the over eager.

I'm predicting cloud anyway on the basis of bitter experience and that, well, don't get your hopes up and that sort of thing.

I am meeting my friend tomorrow who lives in Brocton at 9.30am for a dog walk.

I dont have smoke or mirrors or bits of card with holes in or colunders.

So If I hadnt read this thread and expected anything I would actually not notice anything at all and probably just comment on how gloomy it was , as usual?

I ♥ cryptic crosswords
Take a torch..

Impress your friend by pretending to do a silent whistle that you will tell her will silence the birds

Shake a stick at the sky as you speak in tongues

Offer up pork scatchings as a sacrifice
